September 9th - 13th

Hi all! I am excited for our first full week together this year! We have a very busy and exciting week ahead of us. We will be beginning our training for our Daily Five and Explore+4 routines in literacy and numeracy, and have our open house on Thursday evening. As well, we will be travelling to Fort Qu'Appelle for Treaty 4 Days on Thursday. Please remember to check the weather on Thursday morning to ensure that your child is able to enjoy the day as much as possible!

Finally, please make an effort to check and sign your child's agenda every evening. I check the agendas every day, and they are the best way to keep you informed about the events happening at the school. I hope to see you all at our Open House on Thursday evening (6-7:30 pm)!

Monday (Day 5) - Cree w/ Ms. Ellis, Team building, Daily 5 training begins, Math unit introduction, My Time visit, Kindergarten helpers selected
Tuesday (Day 1) - Arts Ed. w/ Mrs. McDonald, Phys. Ed., Explore+4 intro, Read to Someone practice
Wednesday (Day 2) - Arts Ed., Team building, Work on Writing practice, Treaty 4 Days prep
Thursday (Day 3) - Treaty 4 Days in Fort Qu'Appelle (all day), Open House (6-7:30pm)
Friday (Day 4) - Cree w/ Ms. Ellis, Phys. Ed., Treaty 4 Days journalling, Inquiry thinking skills exercise.
